Class Placements.

Although students may have mastered certain steps or combinations, our goal is to ensure the technique and strength used in performing these steps is mastered before the student is strong enough to meet the demands of the next level of the curriculum.
Additionally, regular attendance in classes will have an impact on a student’s progression to the next level. Students are expected to attend all of their classes and make up those they miss within the same semester. We appreciate being notified by phone when a student will be absent from class.
A Placement Class may be required to determine an appropriate level for a new student. Final decisions on level placement are at the discretion of the director. We share with you the desire that your child is Safe, Happy and Successful.

Class placements are sent out via the email associated with your parent portal, which is typically done in the weeks leading up to the fall semester. For new dancers and those starting at a later time, placements are typically done on a case-by-case basis.
